To set up a new FTP account in cPanel, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your cPanel account.
  2. In the Files section, click FTP Accounts.
  3. Click the + Create button.
  4. In the Login field, enter a username for your new FTP account.
  5. In the Password and Password (Again) fields, enter and confirm a strong password for your new FTP account.
  6. In the Domain field, select the Domain Name for which you want to create the FTP account.
  7. In the Directory field, enter the directory where you want to grant the FTP account access.
  8. In the Quota field, enter the amount of storage space you want to allocate to the FTP account.
  9. Click the Create FTP Account button.

cPanel will create the new FTP account and provide you with the FTP login credentials. You can then use these credentials to connect to your FTP Server using an FTP client such as FileZilla or WinSCP.

Here are some additional tips for setting up a new FTP account in cPanel:

  • Choose a strong password for your FTP account. Your password should be at least 12 characters long and include a mix of uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols.
  • If you are unsure of which directory to grant the FTP account access to, you can leave the default setting.
  • You can create multiple FTP accounts for each Domain Name.
  • You can also edit or delete existing FTP accounts.
