Welcome to the SaHost Support Centre
To add a new domain in cPanel, follow these steps:
- Log in to your cPanel account.
- In the Domains section, click Addon Domains.
- Click the Create A New Domain button.
- In the New Domain Name field, enter the Domain Name you want to add.
- In the Subdomain and Document Root fields, enter the Subdomain and document root for the new domain.
- Deselect the Share document root (/home/username/public_HTML) with “domain.tld” checkbox.
- Click the Add Domain button.
cPanel will add the new domain to your account. You can then start uploading files to the new domain’s document root directory and creating email accounts for the new domain.
Here are some additional tips for adding a new domain in cPanel:
- If you are unsure of what Subdomain or document root to enter, you can leave the default settings.
- You can add multiple add-on domains to your account.
- You can also edit or remove existing addon domains.
If you are adding a new domain that you have just registered, it may take some time for the domain to propagate through the DNS system. Once the domain has propagated, you will be able to access your website by going to https://newdomain.co.za
