To add a new domain in cPanel, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your cPanel account.
  2. In theย Domainsย section,ย clickย Addon Domains.
  3. Click theย Create A New Domainย button.
  4. In theย New Domain Nameย field,ย enter the Domain Name you want to add.
  5. In theย Subdomainย andย Document Rootย fields,ย enter the Subdomain and document root for the new domain.
  6. Deselect theย Share document root (/home/username/public_HTML) with โ€œdomain.tldโ€ย checkbox.
  7. Click theย Add Domainย button.

cPanel will add the new domain to your account. You can then start uploading files to the new domain’s document root directory and creating email accounts for the new domain.

Here are some additional tips for adding a new domain in cPanel:

  • If you are unsure of what Subdomain or document root to enter,ย you can leave the default settings.
  • You can add multiple add-on domains to your account.
  • You can also edit or remove existing addon domains.

If you are adding a new domain that you have just registered, it may take some time for the domain to propagate through the DNS system. Once the domain has propagated, you will be able to access your website by going to https://newdomain.co.za.
